Seeding Hope: He Kākano Ahau

Papawhakaritorito Trust is building a movement that supports people to reconnect with kai (food) growing and kākano (seed) sharing, so we can all participate in rebuilding the health of our oneone (soil). A key part of this is getting as many people around the world as possible to sign the Mana Wāhine Indigenous Women's Declaration for Soil and Seed. This short video, presented by Dr Jessica Hutchings (Tūhoe, Ngāi Tahu, Ngāti Huirapa, Gujarati), co-founder of Papawhakaritorito Charitable Trust, shares what the Declaration is all about.
